After getting awful advice from our professional pediatric nutritionist, this book finally helped us get enough meat on our son's bones to get him onto the growth chart. We now enjoy mealtimes as another fun part of our day rather than dreading it. I recommend it to every new mother, I'm sure her other books are better for mother's of older children. I absolutely love this book!

I had this book recommended to me by a friend and I am glad I have read it. My son is 15 months old and a good eater. He tries new things and is a healthy weight. I like her philosophy of division of responsibility when it comes to feeding your child. You provide the what, where and when. The child is responsible for whether or not to eat and how much. Our children know what they need to eat and we need to trust them and teach them to trust themselves. This philosophy and book have helped remove the stress from meals and helped us all to enjoy mealtimes together. I plan on giving this book as a baby shower gift to a couple of friends. Her structure and philosophy will fit into most families and belief systems.
