Publisher Comments:

Here's the definitive survival guide for 40 million parents struggling with the quirky, irrational, rebellious behavior of their teenage children.

Psychologist Michael Bradley tells how neurological science has discovered why adolescent brains go through a crazy phase. When parents fail to connect, it's because they are struggling with 30-year-old rules that no longer work.

In Yes, Your Teen Is Crazy! Dr. Bradley updates the rulebook, giving parents the training and skills they need to transform their teenage children into strong, confident, productive adults.

The president of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry raves, Yes, Your Teen Is Crazy! is "so rich and informative, so sensible in its approach, I could hardly put it down. Its down-to-earth description of adolescents is the best I have seen in years. I recommend it to everyone, including kids."

Synopsis:

Reminding parents that you can't relate to a crazy teen the same way you relate to a rational adult, Bradley tells readers how to navigate the adolescent minefield.

This is an excellent book. I've read quite a few books about parenting teens and this book is the only one to have a solution that is so simple and immediately brings results. It's funny, gives real examples from the authors practice counseling teens and families and from his own experience with his teen. The solutions he provides are all about changing the only person you can change, yourself! The only book you'll need.
