Thursday Next is back and this time she's gone transcontinental! Something Rotten, the fourth book in the series, continues to follow the Goliath Corporation and contains Fforde's usual time-/book-jumping that he so expertly interweaves — the story starts out in an American pulp western and runs from there. Also returning is the ever amusing but painfully indecisive Hamlet, living in Swindon with Thursday's mom, Wednesday. This no-holds-barred segment of the life of Thursday Next is Fforde's best since The Eyre Affair. Read it before you become un-actualized.
