About the Author

0. Robin Sweet produces her own line of healthful, frozen, organic baby food, under the name The Well Fed Baby, which is sold in major supermarket chains nationwide. Trained as a pediatric nurse, she is president of The Well Fed Baby, author of numerous books on families, health, and nutrition, and is cofounder of The Well Fed Baby Adoption Foundation, which subsidizes domestic and international adoptions.

Thomas A. Bloom, Ph.D., was a professor of food science and food management, as well as president and CEO of the California Culinary Academy and vice president of the Culinary Institute of America. He wrote the award winning television cooking show and cookbook Cooking at the Academy,He is a freelance writer, lecturer, and food consultant.

Robin and Thomas have three children and live in San Diego
