About the Author

Marion Dane Bauer is the author of more than 40 books for children, including the Newbery Honor—winning book On My Honor, and Rain of Fire, which won a Jane Adams Peace Association Award. She has also won the Kerlan Award for the body of her work. She lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Karen Katz has written and illustrated many books, including No Biting! and Excuse Me, (both Grosset & Dunlap), and Counting Kisses (Simon and Schuster).

If your baby is like mine, 15 months and busy, this book is great to engage him/her in reading. This book was given to me by my aunt Annette, a long time teacher, and I didn't realize it at the time, but it's an AWESOME book for infants and toddlers. You and they can interact with the book as you read together. Every page has a flap to lift that reveals a body part. It's colorful. It's great. I plan to gift it to my friends with babies reaching toddler age.
