The Racecar Alphabet
by Brian Floca

The Racecar Alphabet Cover

Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

An alphabetical treat, inspired by racecars in action and throughout history From "A is for Automobile, machines on wheels" through "Zipping, zigzagging with zeal and zing--ZOOM, " the words get us racing! Big, bold illustrations ground kids in the first days of racecars, then swiftly accelerate them to the present. Each successive page cleverly advances through the alphabet and the history of racing (from stock cars to Formula 1). And there are plenty of sound effects and visual excitement to keep the pages turning! All aspects of a racetrack setting are caught in crackling action, in fan-friendly pictures, and in words that bounce and jounce for the fun of it. A Richard Jackson Book
