Review:

"It's quitting time...and you don't want to blow your paycheck on a lavish meal. But who can remember which joints have Happy Hours, how late, and how good? That's where Cindy Anderson's Portland Happy Hour Guidebook comes in." Oregonian

Review:

"Something was missing from the travel, tourist and inside-info books on the greater Portland area, something...delicious. Enter the Portland Happy Hour Guidebook. What do we like to do after a long day of work? What's one of the famous Portland hobbies that doesn't depend on the weather? We like to drink! And eat for cheap! Why couldn't someone write a guidebook about that? Well, someone did. And her name is Cindy Anderson." Portland State Vanguard

This book is my Bible. Who would not want to eat and drink at the coolest places in PDX for less? With the info. in this little book, the 12% of PDXers without jobs and many others who've been cutting corners in '09 can drink and dine at their favs, albeit, early bird style. The best thing is these specials are not Del Ray Beach style, i.e., iceberg lettuce and chicken a la king from metal containers in a buffet line of age-qualified candidates.
