I picked this book pretty randomly while looking for parenting advice for my 18-month old daughter. I felt like she was in control and I was losing control. But, the first time I started reading "Love & Logic Magic for Early Childhood" I tried one of their "experiments" (very skeptically) and it worked. In a few days, I was back in control and she was happier more of the time than she's ever been. The book is written and put together very well. You should read through the whole book once and keep it around to peruse the highighted areas for a refresher course in seconds. I won't say it is all easy. One of the hardest parts is being creative on the spot, but they even have help for that. And, if you put in a little overtime (i.e. after the kids are in bed) to think of some standard plans (punishments) for likely mistakes it really helps. A great parenting philosophy!
