This book shows how a love for horses will take anyone
above and beyond the normal limits to save a horse.
Sam is really one with the Phantom in this book. She breaks a few rules and puts herself in danger just so the Phantom will trust her. I Love this book and I believe it is extremly well written. I just got it last week because today is my birthday. I finished it yesterday.

The Renegade is a great book! I read it over a year ago but best I can remember it was one of those "can't put it down till I'm done!" books, as are most all the Phantom Stallion books! I highly suggest reading the whole series...in order.
