Publisher Comments:

Sam the lamb has a bad cold. But every time he thinks he is going to sneeze, he only gets as far as "Baa . . . ahhh . . ." No choo!

Sarah Weeks′ rhyming tale and Jane Manning′s lively art make for a hilarious barnyard romp.

The book has it all: rhythm, rhyme and repetition. Although it's written for beginning readers, it's a great read aloud for any age, from the sequencing of the lamb's friends as they help him out to the surprise ending which engages higher level thinking skills. I recommend this book for preschool centers and at home reading with young children. It's my current favorite read aloud as the Literacy Ambassador.
