If you have read any of the classics but you haven't read Wuthering Heights, you should probably amend that immediately. It's one of the only books I was required to read in high school that I actually enjoyed. Recommended by Michelle M, Powell's City of Books

Published a year before her death at the age of thirty, Emily Brontë’s only novel is set in the wild, bleak Yorkshire Moors. Depicting the relationship of Cathy and Heathcliff, Wuthering Heights creates a world of its own, conceived with an instinct for poetry and for the dark depths of human psychology.

One of my favorite books ever! I read it every October, when the weather is mercurial like the characters in the novel. Most people I've spoken to love it or hate it. I love it.
