Publisher Comments:

Tiffany Case, a cold, gorgeous, devil-may-care blonde, stands between James Bond and the leaders of a diamond-smuggling ring that stretches from Africa to London to the United States. Bond uses her to infiltrate this gang, but once in America the hunter becomes the hunted. Agent 007 is in real danger until help comes from an unlikely quarter, the ice maiden herself.

"Bond is what every man would like to be and what every woman would like to have between her sheets." Raymond Chandler

In this fourth James Bond adventure, 007 travels to the States to infiltrate a diamond smuggling mob. He gets as far as Las Vegas before trouble strikes, but he has an unlikely ally in the lovely form of Tiffany Case. Written while Fleming and the series were still fresh, "Diamonds" is a mostly enjoyable, escapist adventure, though its not as tightly plotted as some of his other books. And mobsters are hardly worthy villains for Bond. He needs world dominating megalomaniacs! There are a lot of details about food and drink and contrary to his Lothario rep, Bond only beds one girl.
