This book took me by surprise. I loved the title and have read a couple of other books by Ms. Solnitt. I'm a fan. I loved it because it was so personal, yet written in a very artful way...almost poetry. Unexpected juxtapositions happen, which are both surreal and real at the same time, which I loved. Expect the unexpected with Solnit. She is an artist.
