Swede, September 20, 2011 (view all comments by Swede)
I am trying to live "by the light [I} find," and often I locate such living through the poetry of William Stafford, Billy Collins and Oregon's current poet laureate Paulann Peterson. In his indeed "earthy" language Stafford tells me that "the world speaks everything to us." He's right, as always. We all need to keep tuned to these seers. I frankly can't get through the miasma we find ourselves in in 2011. My life is still being formed by their penetration into truth.
