Outstanding Praise For Sherrilyn Kenyon and Her Novels

"Dance With The Devil cinches Sherrilyn Kenyon's place as a master of the genre! Zarek is a hero to die for, and his story will pull you in and keep you flipping pages into the wee hours; I couldn't put it down." -Julie Kenner, author of Aphrodite's Secret on Dance With The Devil

"With her steamy, action-packed Dark-Hunter novels, Kenyon is ushering in a whole different class of night dwellers...an abundance of hot sex and snappy dialogue keep the plot both accessible and appealing. With its courageous, unconventional characters and wry humor, this fast-moving fantasy will fill the void left by the end of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" series." -Publishers Weekly on Night Embrace

"The second novel in Sherrilyn Kenyon's hot series is just as exciting, sexy and thrilling... outstanding." -Romantic Times Top Pick on Night Embrace

"Her heroes are not only the ultimate alpha men, but are also the embodiment of every female fantasy!...well rounded, with romance as its cornerstone and plenty of action, suspense, humor, and sorrow." -The Road to Romance on Night Embrace

"A marathon of discoveries and pleasures-a wonderful addition to the Dark-Hunter series. Ms. Kenyon delivers another exciting, heart-pumping, virile male to titllate us...It's full of surprises, but this author's great storytelling talent is no surprise at all." -Old Book Barn Gazette on Night Embrace

"A perfect ten!" --Rendezvous on Night Pleasures

"If you love 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' or 'Angel,' then boy, is this the book for you...original and complex...the characters are unforgettable and the action thrilling." -Romantic Times Top Pick on Night Pleasures

"A wild, wicked delight...no one does sexy, tormented heroes better-or more inventively-than Sherrilyn Kenyon." -Nicole Jordan, Bestselling author of Ecstasy on Night Pleasures

"By turns funny and touching...a compelling story that will make you laugh out loud. The gods haven't had this much fun since Xena!" -Susan Krinard, author of Secret of the Wolf on Night Pleasures

"Sherrilyn Kenyon's imagination is as bright as her future." --Teresa Medeiros, author of A Kiss to Remember on Night Pleasures

"Fabulous...one series that belongs on the keeper shelf." -readertoreader.com on Night Pleasures

"Get out a fan. New Orleans is hot and steamy, so is this story." -Old Book Barn Gazette on Night Pleasures

Synopsis:

Dear Reader,

What do you get when you have one immortal Viking warrior no one can remember five minutes after he leaves their presence, a princess on the run for her life, and one seriously annoyed demigod? Basically, you get my life.

It started out simple enough. One night I went to save a woman in trouble. The next thing I knew, the doorway to hell had opened and out stepped Daimons-vampires the likes of which I'd never seen before. Led by the son of Apollo, they are out to end the curse that has banished them all to darkness. The only problem with that is they have to kill Cassandra Peters to do it and if she dies, so dies the sun, the earth and all who dwell here. Life's just a bowl full of cherries, ain't it?

Brought together by fate, it's now my job to protect a daughter of the very race I have been hunting for centuries. Neither of us dares to trust the other. But she is the only one who remembers me... More than that, with her courage and strength, she is the only one who has ever touched a heart that I thought had died centuries ago.

The only way for a Dark-Hunter to regain his soul is through the love of a woman. But what happens when that woman isn't exactly human?

I just got done reading Tino Georgiou's masterpiece--The Fates, and I pick this one up as soon as it was available. I enjoyed the story and liked the prologue that added to the history of Sherrilyn's world. I didn't like the over lapped of the last two books. I will continue to read the dark-hunter series because I enjoy the character interactions. If you missed Tino Georgiou's novel--The Fates, I'd recommend reading that instead.
