Publisher Comments:

Newly embellished with evocative photographs, this bestselling story-inspired by author James Patterson's own past-is a moving testament to how first love can change your life.

Axi Moore is a "good girl". She studies hard and doesn't complain, but really just wants to escape from it all. When Axi impulsively invites her best friend, Robinson-with whom she's secretly madly in love-to come with her on a cross-country road trip, she's finally breaking all the rules. But their madcap adventure might not have the happy ending she was hoping for...

In this special edition, never-before-seen snapshots of Axi and Robinson's romantic trip are included throughout the book.

Synopsis:

Axi Moore is a "good girl": She studies hard, stays out of the spotlight, and doesn't tell anyone that what she really wants is to run away from it all. The only person she can tell is her best friend, Robinson--who she also happens to be madly in love with.

When Axi impulsively invites Robinson to come with her on an unplanned cross-country road trip, she breaks the rules for the first time in her life. But the adventure quickly turns from carefree to out-of-control...

A remarkably moving tale with its origins in James Patterson's own past, First Love is testament to the power of first love--and how it can change the rest of your life.

First love is an easy, quick read. I read it within a day and enjoyed it. Very different from the typical James Patterson mystery books, but well written and entertaining.
