An award winning book from the grand master of Science Fiction, Double Star is a wonderful story of political intrigue. An often copied theme, it is as fresh and real today as it was more than 50 years ago, when it was first published. It is a story of an overly pretentious actor hired to do what initially appears to be a simple impersonation. When events go awry, our reluctant hero becomes the unwilling star in the role of a lifetime. A role he will never be able to reveal.
