I stumbled across this book at my school's library. I checked it out in an attept to learn ASL. This book is NOT an ASL dictionary, but in fact teaches Signed English. Signed English is not a language, but a Manually Coded System of English. I did NOT retain any signs from this book, nor did I have fun reading it! A much better alternative would be to take an ASL or Signed English class. I just did not think the book was good.
