We had a meeting today, the top manager told everyone at our company we had done a good job the first have of the year. (keep in mind he is the one who suggest I read your book) With all employees in the breakroom together, he continued to award five employees with gift cards and plaques. After the meeting I told him I felt that what he did was make all the other employees feel like they were nothing. He in return got real anger with me and told me he expected this out of me. Then he told me that if I did'nt have anything constructive to say he did,nt want to hear it.
I have worked with him for seven years and as long as I don't say anything everything is okay. I do however feel he is trying to be god instead of a manager. Working under him is his way or no way. Plus he changes rules all the time, mostly when his mad at someone. Would love some advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!
