From Charlaine Harris, who created Sookie Stackhouse and her world of Bon Temps, comes a darker locale — populated more by strangers than friends. But then, that's how the locals prefer it. Welcome to Midnight, Texas, a town with many boarded-up windows and few full-time inhabitants. It's a pretty standard dried-up western town. Stop at the one traffic light, and everything looks normal. Stay awhile, and learn the truth. Midnight Crossroad (Ace) is the first novel in Harris's new trilogy.

This series just keeps getting better and better! In Dead and Gone we learn more about Eric Northman! Ms. Harris is truly gifted at story telling and she continues this great story in book 9! The HBO show True Blood is based on this series! I highly recommend this series! Very entertaining.
