The first of a very interesting series for me. So far, it beats the tales of Sookie Stackhouse which seems where this content originates from. Great plot with such a vivid story. You'll never want to put this book down to see what happens next!

Beware. Open this book, and you may very well be hooked for life.
Fast moving, hard-bitten, pulse-quickening... it has it all. The whole series is a world that will pull you in.

Anyone who is into full blown fantasy and a tough female lead will love this book. Guilty Pleasures is the first in the smashing Anita Blake Series, and lord is it powerful. Though there was one or two weak points, the plot ran smoothly and never gives readers a break. This is strongly recommended!
