Publisher Comments:

The authors explore the reasons why children without a conscience are growing in number. They are at risk of becoming "trust bandits", con-men, liars, dance-away lovers, backstabbers of the business world, and even psychopathic killers.

Dr. Magid explains how new human minds revert to an enraged animal-like survival mode when abused and/or neglected, preventing the development of the conscience. Such persons very often become bullies, spouse abusers, muderers, and/or cunning purveyors of many other types of antisocial behavior. This book should become required reading for ALL young adults!
