The account of respected National Geographic photographer Loren McIntyre's experience with a tribe of Mayoruna Indians - semi-nomadic ``cat people'' who tattooed their faces and stuck spines in their cheeks to resemble their claimed jaguar ancestors. He felt that this tribe, which had been thought to be extinct, used mental telepathy to communicate with him.
It is a great introduction to the mysteries of the Amazonian rainforest and cultures.
Fascinating!!
