This is probably the most illuminating book I've read all year, and one of the best books I've read, period. I heard Camus described as eminently decent, and that is really the best way to explain his work. It comes from a place of great clear-sightedness and decency. His ability to examine all of the diverse ideas and events he covers in the book, make connections, and critically evaluate ideas with striking objectivity is incredible!
