No Nature is an incredible anthology of some of Gary Snyder's best work. It spans several decades, themes and places, and includes all different forms of poetry. Gary Snyder is one of the few authors (of poetry or prose) who involves me on several different emotional and intellectual levels. His poems are beautifully written, they deal with respect and enjoyment of the natural world, and are moving on a spiritual level as well. Gary Snyder is one of the best poets of the 20th/21st century and No Nature is one of the best collections of his work published.
