About the Author

I found this book after moving to Panama and kept it by my side for five years until I made the fatal mistake of lending it to someone who has now disappeared from memory. So glad to find it here, and in what appears to be a new edition.

I found this book to be extremely interesting. The authors had a easy to read writing style with a sense of humor.They encompassed a wide range of information and make connections to their own experiences. The organization of the book into short chapters made the reading easier, but there was a ton of information and it would be nice to space out the reading to reflect.

Overall, I learned a lot from this book. There are a lot of biology processes that are described, but the authors did a nice job of simplifying them down. I would recommend people to read this book looking to widen their perspectives on the complexity of life.
