Anne Rockwell is the author of a number of distinguished picture books illustrated by her husband, Harlow Rockwell, including th Apples and Pumpkins companion books: At the Beach, The First Snowfall (both chosen as Children's Books of the Year by the Child Study Children's Book Committee), and My Spring Robin. She is also the author-artist of Puss in Boots and Other Stories, Hugo at the Window, and many others. She live in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
Time for pumpkin picking, apple cider, and Halloween. With great enjoyment of the autumn season, a small girl tells of her family's journey to a farm to pick apples and pumpkins. In simple language she gives the details of happiness from the point of view of a small child. Full color.

Anne Rockwell has written numerous books for children, including At the Beach and The First Snowfall, both illustrated by Harlow Rockwell. She lives in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Lizzy Rockwell, Anne's daughter, has illustrated several books written by her mother. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
