Sequestered in the blackness of the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthas, surrounded by creatures of evil, Raistlin Majere weaves a plan to bring the darkness under his control. Made aware of Raistlin's plan, his twin brother Caramon travels back in time to the city of Istar, before the Cataclysm. There, with the kender Tasslehoff, Caramon will make his stand to save Raistlin's soul.

I enjoyed this mostly due to the fact of how caramon returns from his slobbish lifestyle and becomes the born fighter he is, it also turns and shows how powerful rasitlin actually is and his goals for the next couple books.
