Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

At last children can experience the breathtaking aerial photographs of Yann Arthus-Bertrand in a charming book written just for them. These mysterious photos are eyecatching works of art — but there's more than meets the eye! Earth from Above for Young Readers tells the dynamic story of the diversity of the world's cultures and climes. Young readers will be enthralled by glowing pictures of nomads and camels, carpet merchants and scarlet ibis, tiny villages in Morocco and geysers in Yellowstone, plus many more unforgettable images. Text by Robert Burleigh enriches the experience by revealing the fascinating story that each photograph tells.
