A new mother herself, she's created 24 projects that match her simple style with practicality, resulting in sweet, yet durable, essentials for any rumble-tumble baby. She includes baby hats, bibs, a diaper bag built for the back of a stroller, a ribbon-tag blankie perfect for teething, and many more pint-sized projects. I love this book because it ranges from very simple to more complex (although, not difficult) sewing projects. The patterns are easy to use and non-complicated. The ideas in the book range from a simple felted take-a-long book, to potato stamped t-shirts, and easy baby pants (my favorite; so practical!) - to more challenging projects like the little baby snuggler and the nursing pillow. In my opinion anyone that is even a beginning sewist could sew the projects in this book; and with such a wide range of ideas, beautiful fabics and pictures to inspire even the toughest of procrastinators will be inspired to get going and there is sure to be several projects in here that one will want (and be able!) to sew. For anyone on a budget I highly recommend this book because I think you will certainly get your dollars worth out of this one. Not to mention, some of the projects are so simple it motivates your own mind to take them a step further. Lotta speaks to savvy mothers in this book in her practicality, time the projects take and the fun, envy inspiring baby products you will produce.
