I'm not a huge science fiction fan, but this book had me hooked till the end. I frequently felt like I was in a video game that someone else was playing, even though the internal conflicts in the story far outweigh the external. Brilliant characters, wonderful descriptions, fabulous book.

This book was first written by OSC when he was only 15, and ran in a Sci-fi magazine. Later, he worked it into a novel, and it remains, to this day, my #1 pick of Sci-fi favorites. I understand it is soon to be made into a full length feature film (as movies are finally able to portray the intensity of this book) but you will want to read it first.
