What! No self-respecting neighbor from Washington state where Powells resides has reviewed this classic Alaskan book yet? I lived along the Yukon for 15 years and still this is the book you want to read, own and gift about Alaska's Interior, Native People's, bush life and history as state approached its 50th anniversary. Sidney turns 100 years old in May 2015 and that deserves a read of this book. A good time spent with his interesting life.
