He helps kids with their homework and he agrees when the kids tell him why they think school sucks. Dave is a great writer and this zine is made on copiers in high schools in his spare time.

Third Edition has new epilogue, new jokes, and new content!

I love this book ... as a PPS sub myself I recognized some of my own adventures in the stories - and moments that I was glad "my kids" were so great.

One correction, however - Dave is a substitute para-educator, not teacher. This means he is often an assistant in special ed classrooms and deals with adults and kids on jobs. When you read it, think about all the para-educators that make inclusive education possible!
