The author gives a short overview of every tasting room open to the public throughout the state. He visited all the vineyards/wineries/tasting rooms in person and has something special to say about each one. Makes me want to visit them all! I understand that space was somewhat limited but I wish the author would have discussed the wines each place specializes in or are in their current productions. The book is great for both the armchair tourist and the active wine taster too. I'll be using it (along with a bit more research via the internet) to plan my future wine trails!
