About the Author

Originally from St. Louis, Alexis Morgan and her husband live in a small town near Seattle. An avid reader, she grew up reading gothic romances and westerns and developed a love for flawed heroes who hold to their own code of honor--whether fighting rustlers at gunpoint, or standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their fellow warriors, swords at the ready.

I'm a fan of Alexis Morgan's 'Paladin' series, so I was very excited to get "Warrior Unbound" which is the start of a new 'Talions' series. While it wasn't (for me) quite as good as her Paladin series, it was still an interesting read with hot, sexy, paranormal men (and women)!

Ranulf is a Kyth Talion enforcer. He's the one his Dame (queen) calls when one of the their kind go bad...like a Kyth bogeyman. But he so very tired. He's given over a thousand years of service to his Dame and wants nothing more than to retire, alone, to his secluded mountain retreat. However, his Dame has called and he must answer for now. His attention is riveted when he encounters an unknown, and unknowing, female Kyth. When she becomes embroiled in his hunt for a rogue, it's all he can do to keep his hands off her.

Kerry has always known she's a little different, but at least she always thought she was human! Now she's got two handsome hulks guarding her from a Kyth gone bad. Both of guards are hot, both are built like a wet dream...so why is it the one she can't stop thinking about is the dark bad boy of the pair? And if that's not enough, the Dame is trying to force Kerry to be the next queen!!

I'll be interested to see where this series heads. Hopefully the next book will be about the Paladin who lost out on the girl in this book. But I'll have to wait a whole year to find out :(
