Join one of America’s beloved storytellers on a walk like no other: one man’s unrelenting search for hope.

Reeling from the sudden loss of his wife, his home, and his business, Alan Christoffersen, a once-successful advertising executive, has left everything he knew behind and set off on an extraordinary cross-country journey. Carrying only a backpack, he is walking from Seattle to Key West, the farthest destination on his map.

Now almost halfway through his trek, Alan sets out to walk the nearly 1,000 miles between South Dakota and St. Louis, but it’s the people he meets along the way who give the journey its true meaning: a mysterious woman who follows Alan’s walk for close to a hundred miles, the ghost hunter searching graveyards for his wife, and the elderly Polish man who gives Alan a ride and shares a story that Alan will never forget.

Full of hard-won wisdom and truth, The Road to Grace is a compelling and inspiring novel about hope, healing, grace, and the meaning of life.

Richard Paul Evans's "The Road To Grace," the third book in the "Walk" series, is just as good or better tan the first two. Its essential message is of hope, forgiveness, redemption, and Grace. There were so many noteworthy points in the book that I couldn't stop myself from reading, and rereading the book several times. I felt I learned something new each time! Some memorable lines from the book are, " You can't hate and have peace," and "When we hate someone we make them more powerful than they are." This is a book I would not just recommend; rather I would urge everyone to buy a copy right away. You will not regret it.

A good selection for someone looking for good clean fiction and a "must read" for anyone who has read the first two books in the WALK series. I would not recommend reading this without having first read the other two books. One of the things I enjoy most about the stories is discovering back roads America. I'd probably never have known about Wall Drug or the Mark Twain Museum if I hadn't listened to this book. Richard Paul Evans narrated the audiobook and did an excellent job.
