this book is a reference. i would be surprised if many people have this, but they should, because it is very difficult to finish wood and have it look good. usually it looks bad. the "stain" usually is accepted only in patches which gives an uneven, dark/light appearance to the piece. wouldn't you like to know why? it's in this book. bob tells (and shows) you how specifically to finish a variety of wood species. i renewed it monthly from the library until i started to feel guilty, now it's buy-time for me.
