I decided at 40 that I wanted to see if I could run a half-marathon... (This is having never run a COLLECTIVE 13.1 miles in my life, much less AT ONE TIME!) I always hated running so I knew I would need help. John and Jenny deliver a hilarious, practical, and motivational plan for people like me to start a program to finish the distance, and have FUN along the way. In the 5 years since I read this book for the first time, I have completed seven half marathons, and still going strong! I have recommended this book to so many new runners because it helped me SO MUCH! THANKS JOHN AND JENNY!!!
