The definitive guide to paint by the nation's most sought-after color consultant

When Martha Stewart was developing her first paint collection, the Araucana Colors (based on the hues of her chickens' eggs), she turned to the nation's top color consultant: Eve Ashcraft. Eve helped Martha to pinpoint the colors of that enormously successful paint line, thus assisting in transforming an industry along the way. In her first book, The Right Color, her own curated palette (her paint line launches this fall) and countless other favorite shades and color combinations provide inspiration for every room in the house. Packed with trade secrets, such as how to make a small room look bigger, how to use color to brighten a space, and how to use paint to resolve myriad architectural challenges, this book will give anyone the confidence to choose a palette that will make the most of any space.

OK...I have not read yet but I have a book on reserve when it is published. She had a color palette recently in the magazine SIMPLE and I love the colors...so much so I ran out to Benjamin Moore Paints and bought the gray colors and light blue for my bedroom. She described the colors as cool, calming storm and she was so right. My husband and I had been looking at colors forever it seemed and we agreed on her colors because she used it with a brown sofa...my comforter has dark brown design...everyone loves it. My ceiling is a dark charcoal looking grey...I can't remember the name of it but it is the best looking room in the house. Can't wait until her book comes out. She truly is fabulous and gifted with colors and how, where and when to use them. Thank you Eve Ashcraft.
