My family members still ask for their birthday cake recipes and other special occasion desserts to come from this book years after I started baking from it. We all agree that every recipe we have tried is consistently delicious, if not, decadent! The special instructions and details that Caprial includes throughout the book are priceless. All of my children have helped me make many recipes from the book in eager anticipation of savoring the result later. My copy is dog-eared and stained with butter, chocolate, and whipping cream and loved all the more for it!
