Publisher Comments:

Hot-tempered 15-year-old Ichigo Kurosaki, the hero of the popular fantasy-adventure Bleach, has the unsettling ability to see spirits who are unable to rest in peace. His sixth sense leads him to Rukia, a Soul Reaper who destroys Hollows (soul-devouring monsters) and ensures the deceased find repose with the Soul Society. When she's injured in battle, Rukia transfers her sword and much of her power to Ichigo, whose spiritual energy makes him a formidable substitute Soul Reaper. But the orange-haired teenager isn't sure he wants the job: too many risks and moral dilemmas.

There is a new TV show which has become super popular, the man on it claims to be able to communicate with ghosts. Ichigo is very doubtful. But his doubts get tested when he finds out that the show is going to be filming in his town and his siblings want to go.

Well, the artwork is the same crammed style, which I really don't care for. I am enjoying the plot though, and find it very interesting that Chad (who seems at first to be your typical big and stupid) seems to have a higher ability to sense ghosts then the normal human.

This has some completely hilarious moments, and also explains more about how Hollows are created and how a normal spirit might become a Hollow over time. There are some fantastic comic relief moments with Ichigo's family.
