This book was a gift from a dear friend. It's a daily devotional, which is not the type of book I would choose, but it has turned out to be a truly encouraging book. So often it says just what I need to hear that day.

By far one of the most inspirational books I've read, and my very favorite devotional book! It is written as if God is speaking "first-person" to her; and yet it feels as though He is speaking directly to me, as well. Every person I've given it to has expressed the same sentiment. Sarah's journey from hearing ABOUT God to experiencing God's presence and hearing FROM God gives encouragement to all Christians seeking to grow closer to Him. One is left convinced that the intimacy with Jesus that she experiences is available to everyone. The daily devotionals, shared from her time "listening" to God, remind me of the eternal promise of God's abiding presence-"I am with you always.." (Matthew 28:20).
