Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Frustrated by Ryuichi's superior talent, Shuichi decides to get into his own groove in order to go head-to-head against his idol. And when Eiri makes an unexplained exodus to New York, Hiro convinces Tatsuha to dress up like Eiri at the cooking show ... hopefully lightning will strike again, and Shuichi will be inspired to hit a high note. But when Shuichi gets carried away and locks lips with the costumed Tatsuha, will the face-sucking scandal be too hot for everyone to handle? Or will Shuichi tell everyone to kiss off?!

Synopsis:

When Eiri harshly criticizes aspiring rock star Shuichi's amateurish lyrics, a force not unlike gravity brings them together and they find their futures inexorably linked.

Shuichi Shindou is determined to take his band Bad Luck to the top of the Japanese pop charts. With his drive, talent, and satiny singing voice, he just might stand a chance. But Fate throws a wrench into his well-oiled machine in the form of a handsome stranger named Yuki, a romance writer with an attitude. Yuki is Shuichi's biggest critic, but as the two young artists gravitate towards each other, friendship, and perhaps something more, is sure to blossom.
