This is the bible of weaving. If you are a beginner, you need this book. Even if you have been weaving for years, you will find reason to return to this title. This book covers everything you need to know in order to measure your yarn, warp your loom, weave and troubleshoot your cloth, and finally, tie off! The older edition is spiral bound and the authors name is listed as Debbie Redding.

I looked for a book to learn how to weave and this was it. I knew nothing, however Deborah takes you from the beginning in such clear language. I have been weaving now for two years based only on what she has in the book and my own work. The best book for beginners. She can make you a weaver and also has lots of trouble shooting hints. All marvelous!

Excellent resource for a beginning weaver. My weaving instructor recommended it, and he was right! Chandler covers everything from the names of the equipment used to creating your own weaving drafts. She includes step by step instructions for every part of the process and has practices lessons. Lots of photos for the visual learner. I couldn't have asked for a better resource book! I'll be referring to this one for years to come.
