This book constitutes the joint refereed proceedings of five international workshops held in association with the Third International Conference on Grid and Cooperative Computing, GCC 2004, in Wuhan, China in October 2004. The 95 revised workshop papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 154 submissions.
