A consice, beautifully detailed anatomy reference guide for Veterinary students. Using photographs, radiographs and sonograms the animal is fully diagrammed in the most realistic form. I've used the Atlas to help me visualize and understand injurys and genetic abnormalities in my pets. Also, the authors state that "No animal was sacrificed to provide illustrative material for this publication."
