About the AuthorRobert Larson is an Architect with Microsoft® Consulting Services (MCS) who focuses on infrastructure optimization and virtualization. He helps customers plan and design server and datacenter consolidation projects, and shares his virtualization expertise via Tech*Ed, TechNet webcasts, industry journals, and his blog. Janique Carbone is the co-author of the Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Hyper-V™ Resource Kit and Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 Resource Kit. She has been working in IT for over 15 years on projects ranging from application development to enterprise infrastructure design. Janique has developed Hyper-V, Virtual Server, and Virtual PC training for Microsoft events such as TechEd and has assisted customers in maintaining and optimizing business critical Windows Server infrastructures. In May 2006, after 7 years at Microsoft, she founded the Infrastructor Group, whose charter is to deliver in-depth training and consulting for core infrastructure with a specialization in virtualization technology. At Microsoft, Janique worked as a Senior Consultant in Microsoft Consulting Services and developed/delivered multiple customer and partner Windows training seminars. Before joining Microsoft, Janique worked as an engineer on the Space Shuttle and International Space Station projects for Boeing, as well as various other contractors supporting the National Air and Space Administration Johnson Space Center (NASA-JSC), in Clear Lake.
