Lemlin is not as well-known as other vegetarian cookbook authors. But this is as good a book as you could hope for. Everything is good; everything is easy. When my daughter was teaching herself to cook, she used this book. The BEST!

When I purchased this, I wasn't looking for this book. I found a great book by accident. The recipes are Quick, easy and good. It turned into a keeper and part of my main collection which I keep in the kitchen for quick use. [The other of the 500 are in the office] I can always fall back on this book when I can't figure out what to cook. [Yeah I know.. 500 cookbooks and you have a problem figuring out what to cook...]

I've bought many copies of this wonderful book to give away to friends who fell in love with it. The recipes are straightforward and really tasty. Everyone who loves veggies or would like to eat less meat will find this to be a great resource.
