Lauer does her best to keep things light, but her relentless cheerleading quickly becomes grating; her phrase 'The Best Meat Ever' appears on almost every page. Too fun! I work at a bar/restaurant where the smell of cooking bacon draws customers from all around the city. That means it's also always there for MY consumtption. YUM! This book is funny and interesting and I've recommended it to many customers already. Everyone is really DOES love bacon. Plus, there is a bacon brownie recipe (and lots of others) that I can't wait to try.
