This is a great book. It gives a thorough understanding of the basics of sourdough that I had not had until I read this book. It provides a explanation of how to make your own sourdough starter, and how sourdough works, thus removing some of the mystery and providing the reader reader with fundamental understanding essential to turning out sour dough products that work. There are also several different recipies for bread, sweets, waffles etc.
